Believers are Offended

A few months ago, I had blogged about a proposal to run an advertising campaign on London buses declaring that there is probably no God. The word 'probably' was meant to ensure that the Advertising Standards Authority did not call the campaign into question. Despite all this, ever since the campaign took off, the advertising regulator has apparently received over 50 complaints.
In defence of this advertising campaign, all I can say is that believers offend non-believers in so many ways, all the time. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe only believers have the (God given) right to offend others.  Makes sense, doesn't it?
